Overview:
As the TMS functional solution expert, you'll run discovery sessions, create functional designs, and lead a team through project completion. You're responsible for the project success.

Scope:
This is a customer facing role where critical thinking, problem solving, gravitas, and communication skills are important. You'll understand customer needs, prescribe TMS workflows to meet the needs, and configure the TMS appropriately. Often, you'll be moderating between conflicting points of view from stakeholders. The primary focus is on functional solutions, but often you'll need to be part of technical or integration designs. Sometimes you'll need to work with technical consultants for designing custom solutions. Traditionally this role is mostly on-site with the client, flying out Monday mornings, flying back home Thursday evenings, with Fridays work from home. During COVID-19 this role is being done entirely remotely from home.

What you'll do:

Quickly ramp on features and functions of the Blue Yonder Transportation Management Systems, or prior knowledge of the Blue Yonder Transportation Management Systems. Can do \\"day before\\" learning to stay ahead of customers as they bring up niche areas. Expected to take regular certification training on Blue Yonder solutions. Can configure the Blue Yonder Transportation Management Systems to match customer requirements.

Adept at requirements gathering, estimating effort, designing, documenting, presenting, demonstrating, communicating with clarity, tactful moderation, persuading stakeholders, structuring work tasks for delegation, project management, and diligent follow-up. Prior consulting experience is very helpful.

Quickly build credibility, rapport, and trusted advisor standing with customers. Comfortable operating in dotted-line or no-line organizations where contributions need to be solicited. Able to work with global teams, multiple time zones, virtually, and in-person.

Owns customer success. Can be hands-on within the TMS, or guide others, as needed. Can explore alternate solutions and experiment with what works best. Liaison with groups within the customer, and various groups within BY. Provide second level support during go-live periods. Recognize and highlight when there are new opportunities for customer value within projects.

What we are looking for:

Strong domain knowledge / experience. Knowledge of TL, LTL, parcel, ocean, air, rail, and IM transport; Fleet and market carrier operations; Different types of rating; Network modeling and optimization strategies; TMS operational workflows and financials; TMS EDI usage; TMS-WMS integrations, TMS-ERP integrations.

Experience deploying TMS strongly preferred

Experience in customer facing role, gathering requirements, formulating a solution, persuading stakeholders strongly preferred

Can adjust collaboration style to the need at hand. Can manage difficult customers.

Bachelors Degree
-
Excel (data cleansing, pivot tables), Word and PowerPoint (concise, polished documents)

SQL (beginner or intermediate) preferred

Ability to qualify for SF85P public trust security clearance. Qualification includes a background check with fingerprints and a drug test

After COVID-19 impacts, and a 'return to normal', the ability to fly 75%+ to be on-site with clients.
