This position will be leading innovation with business visualization/dashboarding, and data storytelling. Will work within a team environment to gather requirements, build dashboards, and perform analysis to derive insights that will enhance business decisions. Additionally, this position will serve in a high-profile role on a team, establishing the basis for Business Intelligence/Analytics practices throughout the organization

- Design, build and deploy integrated BI solutions (Dashboards, Standard Reports, ADHOC Self Service, Scorecards) using industry BI Tools like Power BI and Tableau, QlikView, or TIBCO Spotfire that have direct impact on customer strategy.
- Develop an understanding of how the data contained in various systems are utilized and can be joined to create useful information to support decision-making. Collaborate with appropriate internal teams on development of data ETL logic in support of report visualizations. Establish standards and best practices for all visualizations to deliver a consistent experience
- Leads in workstream planning and prioritization process including the Assess, Build, Launch and Evaluation of BI solutions, by interacting with various stakeholders to understand their business needs, communicating project status and developing relationships to ensure satisfaction. Develops work plans or reviews of plan timelines and manages flows to meet deliverables
- Design, develop, and implement complex, interactive reports, dashboards, visualizations and analytics. Use advanced data visualizations techniques to provide concise and compelling summaries of analysis findings in reports and presentations. Develop customer-centric analysis, performance measurement and ad-hoc analysis to address specific business questions. Researches business problems and determines and creates KPIs from data to apply to business processes. Identify and analyze developments, variances, and trends in financial and business operations to communicate recommendations in support of business initiatives and decisions
- Communicate (verbal and written) regularly with team members and business stakeholders to Interpret requirements and determine optimum business intelligence requirements to meet needs. Work with the data architect to ensure that logical and physical data models support the analytic needs of the business. Collaborate with other employees within the company to identify and share Business Intelligence concepts and best practices. Support customers by understanding their business challenges and delivering relevant analyses. Evaluates internal and external customers' needs and abilities in order to provide appropriate solutionsPrepare and maintain database documentation and standards; develop and maintain technical and analytical documentation; monitor and resolve any failures and document test plans.Leads or provides direction for the planning, designing, and execution of user testing efforts.QA and validation of new and existing visualizations and analytics for proper and efficient execution and adherence to business and technical requirements
Ensure basic education and appropriate training is provided to applicable end users. Provides guidance, training, and problem solving assistance to other team members. Coaches less-experienced individuals

- B.S. degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent technical field required.
- 5+ years analysis experience, including documenting business requirements and/or functional specifications in a data warehousing environment
- 5+ years of experience with SQL query tools and Business Intelligence tools like Power BI, Qlikview, Cognos, Business Objects or Tableau
- At least 5 years of technology implementation and development experience with a Business Intelligence tool
- 5+ years equivalent work experience in Information Technology or a structured Data Analytics function
- Understanding of database management systems and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework.
- 5+ year analysis experience, including documenting business requirements and/or functional specifications in a data warehousing environment
- 5+ years driving and consulting on enterprise BI solutions and data integration projects
- Strong Organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - verbal and written.
