Central Florida Regional Hospital, a 221-bed acute care hospital and Level II Trauma Center, serves the communities of Seminole and west Volusia counties. The hospital provides the only full-service cardiovascular program in Seminole and west Volusia, including open heart surgery, interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, cardiac rehabilitation and comprehensive diagnostic services. Other specialized services include orthopedic and spine care, robotic surgery, acute inpatient medical rehabilitation and complete imaging services. Central Florida Regional Hospital is located 3.6 miles east of I-4 between S.R. 46 and Highway 17-92 in Sanford. The hospital provides 24/7 emergency care at its main location as well as at Heathrow ER located at 4525 International Parkway in Sanford.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Cardiovascular Technologist assists with all procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab including scrubbing, circulating, recording and monitoring patient status to ensure optimal patient outcomes. You are expected to smile!

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION REQUIRED AND/OR PREFERRED:

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:

State of Florida professional license with ARRT or RCIS certification. Must obtain RCIS or RCES registry within 3 years of hire if not an Rad Technologist with ARRT.

Current BLS (Basic Life Support) required ; or BLS, ACLS Instructor (3/2016)

Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) required
New hire/transfer into higher skill level must obtain within 6 months. Required to work under ACLS credentialed CVT until training certificate obtained.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED OR PREFERRED:

Two years experience in licensed field and one year cardiac cath lab experience.
