Job Title: Locksmith

Job Summary: EMCOR Government Services has a need for a Locksmith in Germantown, Maryland

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Perform the activities associated with locksmith areas such as key coding, key grinding, setting keyed cylinders codes, picking locks, installation and removal of locksets, setting combinations on spin dial devices and safes, frilling locks and safes.

- Will be required to perform preventative maintenance and service calls.

Qualifications:

- Must possess a Master Locksmith designation from Associated Locksmith's of America or equivalent LKM 7000 Lock Certification and S&G 2740 Locksmith training

- Must have 3-6 years experience as a Locksmith including installing, troubleshooting and repairing all aspects of various doors, hardware and locks.

- Must understand the principles and mechanics of master keying.

- Must be well trained and documented in the activities associated with locksmith areas such as key coding, key grinding, setting keyed cylinders codes, picking locks, installation and removal of locksets, setting combinations on spin dial devices and safes, frilling locks and safes.

- Must be able to pass a background and drug test.

- Must currently have or be able to obtain a Q Level Clearance
