JOB SUMMARY:

The Product Manager will help drive the long-term vision and product strategy for the Telematics product line. They will also work with customers, relevant internal participants, and other stakeholders to ensure we are creating the most value for our customers. Product success will be measured by profitability, unit growth (count and data), and revenue growth. Overall success will be measured by contribution to delivery of our Connect and Scale vision for Transportation.

RESPONSIBILITIES YOU CAN EXPECT

Discover. Develop new product concepts, research market opportunities, conduct competition (and substitute) assessments, collaborate with Marketing for Voice of Customer

Advocate. Identify customer requirements, issues, and opportunities with current product offerings, as well as new products under development. Represent the Hardware group in setting product priorities.

Align. Develop a multi-generation roadmap for hardware and data collection and align with other product leaders to deliver on the overall strategy. Assist cross-functional teams by being the subject matter expert, able to answer questions, and make clear recommendations.

Execute. Coordinate with Engineering and UX teams to execute development initiatives. Drive product launches and post-launch analysis.

Evangelize. Create and maintain a multi-generation roadmap. Socialize a clear view of priorities and progress against that roadmap with business partners and senior leadership.

EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

*

Bachelor s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Product Management, or related field. Commensurate experience to a degree will also be considered
*

Metrics-driven mentality: Keen analytical skills are a must, including the ability to absorb and process large amounts of data, then transforming the data into actionable information
*

Tech-savvy and passionate about building products in an OEM environment
*

2+ years experience of product management within a technology-focused business

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

*

4+ years experience of product management within a technology-focused business
*

Experience within a transportation or logistics business environment
*

Experience developing and maintaining strong partner relationships
