thyssenkrupp Elevator Americas is currently seeking an experiencedAccount Manager - Service/Repair in Kansas City, KS.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

With 1-3 years sales experience we will teach you how to excel in thyssenkrupp's elevator business.

Along with your foundational sales skills, we provide hands on training with our experienced sales representatives and operations team on customers, product, business, and industry, including our strong safety and "customer first" culture. After 3-4 months training you will master the skills you need to be successful and assigned your own sales territory and customers. This may require relocation to one of our many branches across the United States.

We will continue to offer growth throughout your career with the latest training offerings and development opportunities, and upon territory placement you will participate in a significant and profitable sales bonus program.

During training and as a sales representative you will:


  • Accomplish sales objectives

  • Gather market and customer information; conduct presentations

  • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers

  • Read and learn to understand job plans and specifications; obtain estimates

  • Develop budgets and schedules for customers

  • Attend educational and business review meetings

  • Learn to write contract proposals

  • Travel within local territory and occasionally overnight for training and meetings

What we look for

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 1-3 years B2B sales experience

  • Strong computer skills and math aptitude

  • Technical aptitude to learn new software (Oracle, SAP, or other ERP systems)

  • Strong organizational, written and oral communication skills

  • Ability to write reports and business correspondence

  • Ability to problem solve and provide valid solutions

  • Ability to travel up to 15%
