Franciscan Health Center is a 47 bed Skilled Nursing Facility located on Park Point in Duluth. Must be interested in CNA work and willing to test out in less than 4 months. This position is temporary unless CNA is acquired.

  Good physical and mental health.

  *Able to walk, stand or sit for 4-8 hours in an 8-hour shift.

  *Able to bend, stoop, squat, crawl, reach above shoulders and push/pull frequently.

  *Able to lift, carry, push and pull 30 pounds.

  
  


• 
  

  *Able to lift a minimum of 100 pounds with assistance.

  
  


• 
  

  *Walks and stands much of the day.

  
  


• 
  

  *Exposed to strain in lifting, moving and supporting residents.

  
  


• 
  

  *Exposed to infection.

  
  


• 
  

  Additional hours may be required to meet the business needs of the facility to ensure safe resident care, at the discretion of management, overtime maybe required.

  *Able to read, write and understand verbal communication.

  *Maintains a clean, well-groomed appearance.

  *Displays initiative in prioritizing and completing assigned tasks. Understands and demonstrates teamwork.

  Interested in attaining their CNA/NAR Certificate
