Job Description:

Manage, determine and communicate SKU level forecasting for Inventory Management.


  • Execute the Finished Goods Planning process and Demand Planning for DED (CCI Program). Prepare weekly demand forecast. Manage forecasts and communicate changes.
  • Prepare item/product family forecasts in conjunction with product divisions, Sales and Marketing. Communicate results to Re-Buyers and Buying Managers. Improve forecast accuracy and reduce "Out of Stocks".
  • Gather and input promotional information from Marketing and Business Sales teams into demand planning system.
  • Prepare weekly demand planning agendas and send out weekly demand planning results for review. Adjust forecasts as necessary.
  • Utilize Demand Planning Exception reports to identify and resolve potential issues. Perform weekly root cause analysis and take proper actions with the Demand Manager.
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert on: Supply Network Planners, Import and Domestic Re-Buying, Supply Chain analysis and Central Data Organization.
  • Maintain data for Demand Planning systems.
  • Execute documented process flows, rules and standards relevant to Inventory Management Demand Planning. Assist IS in developing reports that ensure quality and effectiveness of data in SAP-APO and allows appropriate and timely KPI's.

  • Bachelor's degree.
Relevant Work Experience

  • At least 3 years related experience with Master Production Scheduling and Materials Requirements
  • Planning and/or Supply Chain Logistics.
Additional

  • Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using SUM function, setting borders, setting column width, inserting charts, using text wrap, sorting, setting headers and footers and/or print scaling).
  • Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Word (for example: inserting headers, page breaks, page numbers and tables and/or adjusting table columns).
  • Ability to apply mathematical concepts such as algebra, probability and statistical inference to practical situations.
  • Ability to communicate technical information clearly and simply.
Preferred Qualifications

Relevant Work Experience


  • Knowledge of Database Applications (Access or FoxPro).
  • Experience with SAP and AS400
