What we do:

The New York Fed is looking for an Inclusion Strategist who will help us elevate and exemplify our commitment to being an organization where Diversity, Equity and Inclusion are embedded into everything we do. This is an inaugural role and if you are the person for this role, you run towards opportunities that offer increased autonomy, strategic and tactical engagement and the ability to help build on foundational and first-ever movements. You will be a steward of our culture, leveraging insights and best practices to identify trends and opportunities. You'll collaborate and build partnerships across the organization to engage every employee in creating a Diverse, Equitable and Inclusive Culture.

You will have a matrix reporting relationship to the Chief Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer and the People Rewards Leader. You will support the Bank's strategic direction by working collaboratively across the People Rewards team to ensure DE&I principles are woven throughout every facet of our rewards and benefits. You will leverage experience and expertise to recommend enhancements throughout the employee lifecycle, including how we reward, recognize and care for our unique 3,100 employees. Your role as an Inclusion Strategist:


  • Collaborate on the development of new strategies that cultivate a positive and inclusive workplace culture and employee experience.


  • Provide DEI expertise to elevate our rewards portfolio through identifying opportunities, sharing best practices and collaborating on innovative rewards/recognition initiatives.


  • Help design people processes that shape and nurture a culture of inclusion, including: how we reward talent, deliver benefits inclusive of all, and respond to changing rewards/benefits needs.


  • Use data to tell a story, distill and communicate complex concepts into clear messages.


  • Monitor talent trends/sentiment regarding rewards/benefits to ensure our offerings are competitive across a diverse talent pipeline.


  • Design programs and communications that further our culture of inclusion, including Bank-wide engagement events, communication campaigns, and learnings.


  • Leverage the Employee Resource Groups for insights and collaboration across all facets of People Rewards.
