Summary

We are seeking hard working, team oriented Production Workers for our state of the art facility in Covington, Georgia. Our Production Workers make sure glass is expedited throughout the plant in a safe and efficient manner. Proper lifting techniques, safety, and attention to detail are required. Wages are based on skills and experience.

  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Handling glass and metal product from, tables, rolling racks, delivery trucks, or wood crates for eight to twelve hours daily


• Transporting of materials including glass from one position/location to another in an effort to expedite the production process


• Quality inspection, operating equipment, and/or manually maneuvering equipment


• Reading labels to expedite product flow into other departments


• Understanding layout of the facility to ensure proper product flow


• Inspecting product for any abnormalities and notifying supervisor immediately of any issues


• Utilizing a tape measure to ensure product is within the product specifications


• 
  

  Regular and predictable attendance, the ability to safely perform tasks, and adherence to all safety policies and procedures are essential functions of your job

  
  

Requirements

• Must at least be 18 years old


• All production workers are expected to cross-train and be available to work in all areas of production


• High School Diploma or GED, preferred


• At least one year of previous work experience in a fast-paced warehouse, manufacturing, or production facility, preferred

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift,  bend, twist, walk, and reach frequently


• Able to grip and carry thin material, such as glass


• Able to walk/stand on a concrete floor for regular work shift (approx. 8-12 hrs a day, 5-6 days/week)


• Must have the ability to lift and/or move up to 75 lbs. frequently


• Ability to work in varied temperatures consistent with same climate conditions of the region in a non-climate controlled facility (Heat, Cold, humidity, etc.)
