JOB PURPOSE

Move applicants through the application and hiring process to include screening, interviewing, hiring and onboarding employees.

RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS

- Work within established policies and procedures to achieve specified hiring goals.

- Answer questions from applicants by providing information on hiring processes and the related policies, referring to others where necessary for interpretation of policy.

- Build effective working relationships within the company, delivering high-quality customer service with guidance from supervisor and colleagues.

- Hire employees and process hiring-related paperwork.

- Inform job applicants of details such as duties and responsibilities, compensation, benefits, schedules, working conditions, or promotion opportunities.

- Select qualified job applicants or refer them to managers, making hiring recommendations when appropriate.

- Review employment applications and job descriptions to match applicants with job requirements.

- Conduct reference or background checks on job applicants.

- Contact job applicants to inform them of the status of their applications.

- Interview job applicants to obtain information on work history, training, education, or job skills.

- Schedule or administer technical skill assessments, post-offer physicals and drug tests for prospective employees.

- Maintains accuracy of all databases and spreadsheets used to track applicant information.

REQUIREMENTS

- Associate degree preferred.

- One year or more experience in the field of human resources, business administration, employment, recruiting or a related field.

- Must have sufficient experience to be comfortable with high-volume hiring and a fast-paced environment.

- Must be resourceful, self-sufficient and able to perform work with minimal supervision.

- Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
