Production Machine Operator

The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

Under supervision, a Cartridge Machine Operator performs a variety of tasks in the 3M Meriden plant to operate cartridge production equipment.

• Operates cartridge equipment to pleat, trim, cut seal membrane media, sub assemble, cap, final assembly, testing, drying and packaging of cartridges.   




• Assembles cartridges (modules and capsules).  Air/water test cartridges. 




• Dry and clean cartridges.  Package, label, keep records/location of batches produced. 

Your Skills and Expertise 
 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:

• Possess a high school diploma or GED (completed and verified prior to start)




• Work experience in a manufacturing production operation is desired

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Must be reliable and dependable. 




• Must be able to successfully follow instructions.




• Possess good communication skills.




• Must be able to read, speak, and understand English and pass the required 3M test battery.

This posting is for a Production Machine Operator position at 3M Meriden. 3M anticipates that multiple openings for this position will occur over time.
