Position Responsibilities
The Director of Cloud Infrastructure Delivery will be responsible for determining current and future Enterprise Infrastructure vision, operations and execution. This role will oversee the design and implementation as well as maintenance and support of Deltek Cloud Infrastructure services that support the enterprise infrastructure of the organization. This includes overseeing all Deltek Global Cloud infrastructure services. This includes setting architectural directions for the organization and aligning to meet global business needs, ensuring flexible, modern technologies to support various compliance, privacy and security policies and procedures. The role includes providing world class Infrastructure delivery Services to maximize data center (cloud), regional sites/offices and global end users capabilities. A global transversal Cloud technical leader, who has managed running Cloud Infrastrucre services for Software as a service organizations.

TheDirector, Cloud Infrastructure Delivery will lead the Infrastructure Delivery team in its implementation of major projects designed to transform and grow Delteku0027s Cloud infrastructure supporting the full suite of Delteku0027s product offerings. Througheffective tactical leadership of the team, they will drive constant improvement in all aspects of the operation of Delteku0027s cloud platform, ensuring outstanding performance and availability of Delteku0027s cloud service.

Key Responsibilities:

* Set the mission of the infrastructure organization to foster a business-oriented mind-set, driven by continual service improvements

* Manage the development of infrastructure sourcing strategy and provide executive oversight for strategic vendor and partner relationship management

* Ensure reliable 24/7 Cloud Infrastructure delivery services by implementing Cloud infrastructure architecture, as well as standards to include disaster recovery, security, storage, servers, monitoring, performance, and back-office systems

* Provide direction on which new technologies should be assimilated, integrated, and introduced by staying up to date on emerging technologies

* Interface with business stakeholders and other Cloud cross-functional area leaders to define support initiatives and solutions for improving service efficiency and effectiveness

* Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure and Cloud Infrastructure policies

* Lead the team to design and implement complex architectures acrosscloud provider platforms including AWS and Azure

* Troubleshoot and improve existing architectures and implementations to ensure peak performance of Deltek applications

* Standardize operational designsacross disparate product lines across the full stack

* Identify ways to reduce hosting complexity and costs

* Identify ways to improve operational agility and efficiency

* Ensure operational compliance with evolving industry standards and best practices

* Ensure operational compliance with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements

* Work with cross-functional teams to deliver products and projects on-time and on-budget

* Understand the teamu0027s vision and mission,and translatethem into action plans for the team

* Serve as a guide and mentor to the team, both technically and personally; ensure team growth and development

* Design and develop documentation (runbooks, policies, procedures) to support ongoing operations

* Respond effectively to incidents and outages

* Automate everything

* Provide on-call support as required

* Lead large teams 24X7 across the globe.

* Knowledge of SOC, NIST ad Fed ramp compliances

Qualifications
Qualifications:

* 15+ years of Infrastructure Technology experience

* Bachelor s degree in computer science or information systems management, or equivalent experience

* Proven experience leading positive change, empowering people, cultivating product technology visions and innovative solutions while fostering effective architecture/technology and operational practices culture

* Excellent communication skills including the ability to produce strategic documents, present ideas and solutions to non-technical audience and listen effectively to understand user needs

* Effective influencing and negotiating skills when working with vendors

* Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams within a complex and fast-paced environment

* Proven ability to work cross-functionally and collaboratively

* Ability to produce effective management project briefings to senior staff

* Ability to plan and manage budgets

* Ability to ask questions, constantly learn, adapt, and evolve
