This position is part of the Mobility Core team that is responsible for the architecture, design, testing of the vUSP/IMS Application platforms. The primary responsibilities for this role would be to support innovation, strategic design and planning, testing and production Tier 4 support for Nokia's IMS application and supporting infrastructure (e.g. MMTel AS, SCC-AS UDR, NIAM, NACM, etc.).
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Lead/support architecture, design, and technology introduction of Nokia's IMS Application platforms
Lead/support technology evolution between different hardware and software upgrade and support migration to new generation of technology
Lead/support platform capacity growth and ensure integration and connectivity design
Support service design and testing by working closely with service team to define and test IMS Application features and functionalities.
Work closely with vendors to define features, manage roadmaps and ensure timely delivery of releases
Be the lead of Certification Testing to define test scope, test cases, manage report and resolve issues.
Be the lab manager to manage certification environment and maintain configurations, documentation and best practices for platform
Lead FFA testing and validation efforts leading to GA of the platform
Be the tier 4 support for Nokia's IMS Application platforms including post production care, assistant of troubleshooting of production issues.
Work closely with other cross functional teams including Project Management, TP&E, operations and other partner organizations to ensure successful delivery of all software and features
Be the security owner on the platform, ensure all security requirements are met and maintained

Education:
This job requires TCP board approval. Candidate shall have Bachelors of Science or MS or equivalent in an approved field from an accredited university and a minimum of 10 years of relevant design/testing experience in wireless/wireline industry.
Qualifications:
Proven experience required in architecting, designing and deploying mobility/IMS network platforms and services in both COTS and a virtualized environment
Extensive experience in 3GPP IMS platform architecture, design, testing and deployment
Advanced knowledge and understanding of 3GPP architectures, IMS call flows and protocols, such as SIP, Diameter, HTTP- REST, etc.
Familiar with various AT&T IMS service and features
Demonstrated knowledge and hands-on experience in design, testing and deployment of Network Functions on different cloud and virtualization technologies like OpenStack as well as Containerization and Kubernetes.
Familiar with CICD automating tasks using Azure DevOps.
Ability to solve complex, critical problems related to significant and unique issues by using extensive research and interpretative thinking.
