Schaeffler , a global automotive and industrial supplier, is seeking a Program Manager for our Livonia, MI location. This role is responsible to be the technical interface between Schaeffler and the customer.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Accountable for ensuring profitability, timing, and performance of projects
Communicating internally and supporting the development of technical solutions based upon a customer's current and future needs or requirements
Acting as the technical liaison at the customer to promote existing Schaeffler products or concepts
Building a sustainable relationship based upon technical expertise with the technical staff at the customer
Qualified candidates will have:
Bachelor's degree in an electrical or mechanical engineering discipline
3-5 years experience in automotive engineering
Must possess strong communication and presentation skills
Must have a meticulous attention to detail and a continuous improvement focus
Assertive approach to solve problems
Ability to influence and guide while being open to technical feedback
Results oriented, self-motivated, and organized work ethic
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
