We are looking for an Assistant Account Executive to join our West Coast Tech team. You will have the opportunity to develop and drive integrated plans for some of today’s hottest technologies.


A little more about what you’ll do:


  • Reading and identifying media clips from clipping services and online resources

  • Monitoring client competition coverage

  • Preparation of press kits for distribution

  • Updating media lists

  • Assisting with compilation of media coverage reports

  • Drafting pitch letters and/or emailing pitches

  • Conducting and compiling research

  • Staffing and attending media events

  • Participation in brainstorms



About you:


  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in a related field such as journalism, business, communications, or public relations

  • Preferably have an understanding of the current technology industry landscape

  • Desire to stay up to date with emerging technologies and trends and how they integrate into communications programs

  • Familiarity with the public relations and communications discipline through past coursework, other internships, or personal experiences. Prior internship experience highly preferred.

  • Possess excellent organizational skills and the proven ability to adapt to new conditions, assignments, and deadlines

  • Superior verbal communication skills

  • Have strong writing abilities

  • Demonstrated strong leadership capabilities through extracurricular activities

  • Demonstrated creative thinking through projects, coursework, or activities

  • Knowledge of TrendKite is preferred but not required
