The C&B Director is responsible for ensuring cost efficient and market driven compensation & benefits (C&B) procedures and standards in the region, developing/maintaining compensation objectives in line with the business strategy as well as the global company practices and supporting, steering, controlling regional HR Representatives in the application and usage of
Responsibilities
Establish our stand-alone benefits programs and all supporting activities
Ensure that all benefits programs are compliant with current legal requirements and monitor the environment to anticipate and prepare for future changes
Participate in various roles and at different skill levels (from plan design to hands on basic administration) to help ensure that the company has all the necessary programs and processes in place to operate as an independent company within the Group
Drives annual salary administration process with HR department colleagues to ensure smooth process for annual increases and bonuses.
Review off-cycle recommendations for promotions and market or equity increases.
Evaluate jobs and provide market data as appropriate
Plan, direct, and manage all phases of the organization's compensation program including the job family/pay grade system and salary administration for US, Mexico and Canada
Provide guidance, consultation and recommendations to HR Business Partners, Recruiters, and staff on internal compensation and benefits matters.
Prepare analysis and reports as needed
Education: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree
Experience:
10+ years of experience leading benefits functions in both the domestic and international arena.
Must include in-depth experience with large healthcare programs and retirement schemes.
An ability to influence senior leadership and build partnerships with team members and managers, even when they are located in other parts of the world ·
Experience negotiating with and managing large vendors – e.g. Fidelity, AONHewitt, BCBS
Confidence to work in a matrixed organization with shared resources ·
A history of successfully identifying and taking action on the most valuable strategic targets while working in an environment of ambiguous goals, tight deadlines and continually shifting priorities
