Who You Are

The successful candidate will focus on regaining Service Business from existing and new customers and will develop relations with Plant Maintenance, Operations, Engineers and Management.

As part of the aftermarket Business Development team, you work closely with sales teams, both Service and Capital team, and Service Operations to grow Alfa Laval Food and Water business market share.

This position will be based in our Greenwood Service Center or home based closer to our service center to have a close relationship with our operations team.

What about the job:

We expect you will have the skills to develop sales and marketing plans. The role would be a mix between a person that can develop a solid plan for growing the business, considering all elements to make it effective, and execute by building very strong sales relationships with our customers.

Additional requirements include:

• Creates a plan to focus on growing customer base, and works intensively with new customers


• Generate new leads together with the marketing team and follow up on leads to order conversion


• Works with Channels to regain customers and creates partner business plans


• Works together with account management to ensure coverage plans for large accounts and create commercial solutions for the full customer base in the zone


• Lead customer journey from projects kick-off & commissioning though end of warranty


• Discover opportunities for replacements and generate leads for Capital Sales


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with all levels of Alfa Laval customer’s organizations


• Requires travel of up to 50%

What you know:

A bachelor’s degree is preferred as well as 5 years of direct experience in Business Development or Sales.

You will also have:

• Experience with Food Systems or Life Sciences Industry


• Strong background in computer skills, and sales tools development


• Strong ability with technical problem solving
