Job Summary

                             

• Identify parts and perform basic assembly work using hand tools


• Demonstrate the safe operation and storage of hand tools


• Efficiently perform duties with minimal supervision


• Read and comprehend standard and non-standard drawings and bills of material


• Follow special instructions provided with job packets


• Effectively coordinate and communicate job responsibilities and procedures with team members


• Inspect products to ensure high quality standards are met


• Maintain an average efficiency of 85% as determined by management
  
   

Requirements

 

• Must understand and follow all safety rules and regulations including the following:​
  
  
  • MSDS sheets
  
  
  • SB 198 safety rules
  
  
  • Emergency evacuation procedures
  
  
  • Spill Response Procedures
  
  
  • Lock out / tag out procedures
  
  
  • Safety equipment use
  
  
  
  


• Must understand and follow all company policies and standards as stated in the Employee Handbook


• Must speak and understand English sufficiently to follow directions from other employees and communicate safety concerns to other employees


• Adhere to quality procedures as out lined in the Quality Manual


• Must be able to read a tape measure


• Must maintain a satisfactory attendance record according to company’s expectations


• Must accurately record daily production as specified by plant management​

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift 40 lbs. on a regular basis​
