Job Description:Overview
Parsons is seeking junior Software Engineers with experience in Python, C/C++, and Linux systems to join our team of exceptional individuals. Qualified engineers will be required to participate in an Agile Scrum development life cycle including design, peer review, test support, and documentation of software. Successful candidates must be creative, self-motivated, dedicated, and capable of operating in a quick-reaction development environment to solve complex problems.Required Qualifications

Must have a Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Security or related field

Must have a GPA 3.0 or above (out of 4.0 scale)

Experience working in a Linux command line environment

Knowledge of Linux or other embedded Systems

Experience with Python, BASH, or C/C++ programming

Understanding of network protocols

Proof of US citizenship

Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearancePreferred Qualifications

Strong ability to grasp new technologies and acquire new skills through independent study, professional training, and interaction with other team members

Ability to communicate with technical team members, managers, and customers

Experience using multi-threaded and real-time programming techniques

Knowledge of computer and network security practices

Experience using virtualization technologies
