Job Summary

* You will embrace the concept that as professionals in the complex and ever changing field of mental health treatment, recreational therapists must be active life-long learners.

* You will provide therapeutic interventions that are guided by the treatment/recovery plan

* You will demonstrate the ability to integrate age specific factors into the plan of care and involves the patient and family in the care plan process as appropriate to age. (Age of Patient Population Served: Adolescent, Adult).

* You will design and implement individualized recreational therapeutic treatment.

* Educates co-workers on the benefits of involvement in recreational therapy.

Pinewood Springs is a 60 bed, 49,900 square foot Hospital serving both Adult and Adolescent patients. A part of Maury Regional Health, Pinewood Springs is located in Columbia, TN, between Nashville and Huntsville. QUALIFICATIONS

* Bachelor's degree in Recreation Related field REQUIRED

* 2 yrs experience PREFERRED (intern hours can count towards exp)

* Successful completion of CPI training within 30 days of hire

* BLS REQUIRED
