Overview:

The Scheduler works under the supervision of the Manager, Director, and is responsible for the efficient utilization of the Scheduling System, data entry of all patient data, maintenance of manual logs and statistics. Greets and registers patients according to hospital policy, prepares charts in advance of patient visits, answers department telephone. May be required to assume additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

* Experience: None

* Preferred Experience: Previous healthcare experience.

* Required Education: Education: Secondary/High School Diploma
* Preferred Education: Secondary and some post-secondary.

* Certifications: None

* Other: Excellent interpersonal, analytical and organizational skills, and knowledge of Medical Terminology is required. Knowledge of computerized scheduling and billing is required, as well as knowledge of Microsoft products and the ability to type.
