Here, everyone matters, and you will be a vital contributor to our inspiring, bold mission. As an Maintenance Planner working on the Facilities Team, a typical day will include:
OBJECTIVES:
Responsible for developing and maintaining corrective and preventive maintenance job plans
Review, estimate labor requirements, prioritize and identify parts, tools, contractor resources, safety permits and quality system requirements for preventative and corrective work orders.
Support the Work Order screening and scheduling process
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Determine scope of work for Corrective Work Orders
Perform preliminary assessment on need for change control and out-of-service requirements for Work Orders. Ensure documentation is approved prior to scheduling
Estimate labor hours needed to perform the work for each Work Order
Determine parts and material requirements for each Work Order
Identify EHS procedures required to safely execute work
Partner with Reliability Engineering to update/revise Bill of Materials on equipment with missing or incorrect parts
Ensure PM work orders are properly set-up with required parts in SAP system
Complete mandatory training within required timeframe
Perform other tasks as assigned
EDUCATION, BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Technical Diploma in HVAC, Utilities, or Maintenance related field preferred.
Minimum of 7 years maintenance experience in Biotech or in a Manufacturing industry
Strong understanding of maintenance principals with an ability to deal with complex technical processes and procedures
Computer skills and systems knowledge required
Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) experience preferred
Excellent oral/written communication skills
Ability to work effectively on cross-functional teams and with all levels of the organization
Good understanding of GMP-Quality and EHS systems
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage through multiple complex projects
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Needs to be mobile with ability to move throughout a cGMP facility as dictated by the essential functions and responsibilities of the position
May occasionally be required to climb ladders and stairs
May work in a clean room environment and in utility spaces which requires special garments and personal protective equipment (e.g. hard hats, safety shoes, safety glasses, ear plugs) due to safety requirements in specific areas.
