Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY

Build strategic alliances with customers and sales representatives as it relates to executing successful value add programs. Link clinical practice with products and programs.

CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Support and provide feedback, while working closely with customers, clinicians, the Medline sales force, divisional Product Management teams and other internal resources on targeted Medline products to successfully support transition or conversion to the Medline product technologies.
  • Lead clinical team efforts by coordinating with the sales force, product divisions and the clinical team to implement Medline specific products trials or evaluations. Coordinate regional and local meetings, workshops, and webinars for sales force and customers for the presentation of clinical programs.
  • Manage and provide support for the implementation of clinical programs for all customers, including coordinating and conducting customer implementation calls to review education, discuss outcomes management, coordinate trial kits and review steps for product trials, perform webinars, and address any additional customer concerns.
  • Contribute to the development of new products along with the modification and improvements of existing products by providing customer (end user) insight for process enhancement and improvement opportunities.
  • Consistently build and foster a positive relationship with customers and all Medline employee's to strengthen Medline's position in the market.
  • Assist in the development of Marketing Plans and Integrated Marketing Timelines. Create marketing collateral to support and grow the two programs. Develop marketing campaigns.
  • Conduct investigations, waste assessments, clinical review & observations for improved practice and best practice recommendations and identify standardization opportunities. Seek new or emerging knowledge on changes in reimbursement, quality and clinical programs. Communicate learnings/new knowledge for the field to management and sales departments.
  • Management responsibilities include:

    • Typically oversees professional employees/teams OR typically manages non-professional employees through Supervisors in manufacturing, distribution or office environments
    • Day-to-day operations of a group of employees.
    • May have limited budgetary responsibility and usually contributes to budgetary impact;
    • Interpret and execute policies for departments/projects and develops.
    • Recommend and implement new policies or modifications to existing policies.
    • Provide general guidelines and parameters for staff functioning.
    • Hiring staff, recommending pay increases, performing performance reviews, training and development of staff, estimating personnel needs, assigning work, meeting completion dates, interpreting and ensuring consistent application of organizational policies.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Education


  • RN - Nursing Degree.
  • Relevant Work Experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in clinical program outcomes and/or management.
  • At least 5 years of experience within the ICU, OR, Nursing Home, Homecare, and/or Hospice working environments.
  • Experience presenting to and coordinating professional level meetings, including preparation of agendas presentations and documenting meeting outcomes etc.

Certification / Licensure

  • CNOR

Additional

  • Position requires travel up to 75% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).
  • Ability to build positive customer relationships while providing clinical consultative feedback.
  • Critical Thinking skills to identify potential customer concerns and provide solutions for them.
  • Thorough understanding of the Hospital and/or Post-Acute environment, knowledge of all specialties.

Relevant Work Experience

  • Clinical Team Leader/Coordinator or OR Manager/Director level leadership. Proficient in Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and computer system technology.
