Responsibilities: 


  • Perform methods of assessment inspections (annual surveillance, random sampling, daily, periodic) on all areas to ensure compliance with contract requirements.

  • Measure performance by collection and analysis of data.

  • Draw conclusions from analysis of collected data to detect patterns or identify trends. Perform and document inspections of day-to-day operations.

  • Reports to Quality Control/HSE Manager, primarily assigned to oversee the Logistics areas (Supply and Transportation).

  • On occasion may oversee other contract areas CE.

  • Utilize Air Education Training Command, Inspector General (AETC IG) Checklists as a part of audits.

  • Provide timely detailed written reports Provide feedback on internal and external inspections.

  • Develops and publishes an inspection schedule indicating the function to be inspected. Review, provide feedback and follow-up on root cause, corrective action and preventive action.

  • Monitors all open items on the inspection reports until actions are completed and items are closed.

  • Respond to government observations, inquires, findings, and reports within establish time frames.

  • Investigate customer complaints, document problems and recommend corrective action. Identify and discuss non-conformances, observations and strengths with managers.

  • Review and recommend updates to documentation, to include quality manual, operating procedures, operating instructions, quality records, plans, programs and manuals.

  • Track all service summaries and customer complaints.

  • Update the staff meeting slides with weekly customer surveys numbers and comments. Adherence to contract requirements, safety and health regulations, and company policies.

  • Reviewing contract Service Summary and Performance Work Service requirements.

  • Promote Safety and Quality goals and objectives.

  • Meet time requirements on delivery of work. Identify opportunities for improvement. Review required certification and licenses to ensure contract compliance.

  • Conduct in-briefs and out-briefs. Must be able to communicate effectively both oral and written.

  • Run and review daily reports to monitor work activity for daily, reoccurring and scheduled work.

  • Follow-up with customer to ensure technician communicated with them on job progress.

  • Maintain excel spreadsheet of all open and closed non-conformances.

  • Attend Quality Control or Health Safety and Environmental meetings.

  • Conducts visits on a random, unscheduled basis to evaluate areas of special interest or as directed by the Quality Control Manager.

  • Ensures implementation and compliance with the Company’s code of ethics and standards of conduct, and business practices program.

  • Review documents operating instructions, operating procedures, checklists and forms. Assists document controller in updating and maintaining revisions made to the QC/HSE manuals, operating procedures and instructions, checklist and Forms.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

  • Maintains and issues Personal Protective Equipment to managers and employees. Researches and create purchase orders.

  • Presenting information to other employees at All Hands meetings or other events. Follow-up on action items assigned for customer feedback: contract discrepancy’s and customer complaints.

  • Maintain a good working relationship with AFM personnel and Government counterparts. Timely completion and accuracy of all inspections and work.

  • Works closely and harmoniously with managers and employees. Adherence to contract requirements, safety and health regulations, and company policies.

  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task, adjust to changing priorities, and complete work on-time.

  • Demonstrated ability to handle pressure and be successful in stressful situations.

  • Ability to maintain enthusiasm and positive attitude.

  • Team player; ability to communicate effectively and work harmoniously with others.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft, Windows, Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook.

  • Able to interpret written procedures.

  • Ability to read, write and speak English

  • Must be able to wear assigned Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

  • Knowledge of Hazardous Material Management.

  • Knowledge of analytical process.

Minimum Qualifications: 


  • High School diploma or equivalent. 

  • Minimum 2 years of documented
    experience in quality control of construction and/or maintenance of building
    equipment.

Desired Qualifications: 


  • Formal Quality Control training.

  • Personality skills to resolve problematic situations professionally and quickly.

  • OSHA 10 and/or 30 hour certificate Working Conditions.

  • May work indoors and outdoors as needed.

  • May be periodically exposed to inclement weather conditions or other work conditions by nature.

  • Tasks may be performed on uneven, inclined, concrete floors, cement structures and surfaces, depending on specific work site.

  • Ascending and descending ladders as needed.

Working
Conditions – Office


Frequent sitting, using hands/fingers, handling, reaching
with hands and arms, talking, hearing, and seeing (up close, at a distance,
along the periphery, with depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus);
occasional walking; standing for up to 4 hours; occasional lifting of up to 25
pounds. Work performed in a professional office but position does require
frequent job site inspections were inclement weather conditions may be
encountered.


Ability to perform primary office
duties including heavy computer usage.

Working
Conditions - Outside


Work in an environmental restoration
atmosphere (outdated and/or abandoned facilities). Potential exposure to
equipment movement hazards, dangerous chemicals/solvents or hazardous materials
if proper safety procedures are not followed.


Ability to wear respirator and other
protective equipment to enter various types of potentially hazardous areas
(such as but not limited to chemical, dust fumes, mists, heat stress factors,
etc.).

Ability to carry several
instruments/equipment or tools while walking extensively. Potential prolonged
walking/standing, repeated pushing/pulling.


Ability to perform medium to very
heavy work, exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, non-repetitive, up
to 50 pounds of force frequently (any exertion of force/lifting greater than 45
pounds requires usage of a two person “buddy system”), and/or more than 20
pounds of force constantly, repetitive; performing such activities as lifting,
lowering, carrying, pushing, pulling, standing, walking, grasping, kneeling,
stooping, reaching.


Potential for prolonged driving of
or riding in a motor vehicle, machine operation, and/or working around moving
equipment/machinery or motorized vehicles (such as but not limited to car,
truck, golf cart, gator, heavy equipment).


Environmental conditions may include
weather or temperature extremes, inclement weather (such as but not limited to
wind, rain, excessive heat, excessive cold, snow/ice, etc.)


May be required to operate company
vehicle during the course of work. All safety and DOT regulations and
procedures must be adhered to at all times.
