Job Purpose:


The Audit Analyst is responsible for ensuring that all wholesaler data is reviewed and addressed by the appropriate parties with the aim that:



  • MHA members have access to eligible contract pricing through authorized MHA Wholesalers and Distributors and are appropriately linked to contracts at the correct price

  • There is a clear direction on every member purchase regarding whether it needs to be addressed and if so, what the next steps are in addressing the issue

  • All data is reviewed in an efficient manner, minimizing extraneous work for the MHA Wholesalers & Distributors and Reconciliation Team

The Audit Analyst coordinates with MHA Wholesalers & Distributors, Sales Teams, Internal Operations Teams and Trade Relations to ensure the following:



  • Vendor contracts are properly loaded

  • Members are correctly attached to contracts

  • Contract pricing or member eligibility issues are resolved in a timely fashion

An essential part of this position is to analyze monthly Wholesaler & Distributor sales data to identify research and resolve contract pricing and member eligibility issues. The Audit Analyst will also be responsible for establishing new Audit processes with external business partners where needed. The Audit Analyst will work closely with external and internal teams to help implement audit process improvements that positively impact efficiencies in the overall audit process.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:



  • Generate sales audit reports in order to analyze and identify member eligibility and contract pricing issues, and work with internal teams and wholesalers/ distributors to resolve discrepancies in a timely fashion

  • Prioritize issues based on member sales impact

  • Coordinate with the Membership team to obtain vendor confirmation of member’s contract eligibility status in order to facilitate member’s access to contract pricing via wholesalers/distributors

  • Coordinate with the Contract Management Team to resolve vendor contract, product and pricing issues and discrepancies at the wholesalers/distributors

  • Liaise with wholesalers/distributors to confirm that members, contracts and changes to existing contracts are accurately loaded in the wholesalers’/distributors’ systems

  • Escalate issues to the management team as appropriate, while continuing to track and report the issues.

  • Produce ad hoc reports and summarize findings and trends in data, as requested by Management and other internal departments

Minimum Qualifications & Competencies:



  • Bachelor Degree /Associate’s Degree or equivalent work experience required

  • Strong proficiency in MS Office applications including Excel (Pivot Tables, v-lookup), Word, and Outlook

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, well organized and the ability to self-manage and work with minimal guidance

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent organization and time management skills with ability to prioritize work and function with minimal guidance

  • Professional demeanor in performing job responsibilities and when interacting with others

  • Attendance and punctuality with commitment to arrive to work on time and ensure work responsibilities are covered when absent
