Senior Finance Manager – Business Finance Transformation

The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Senior Finance Manager for Business Finance Transformation you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Driving transformational process improvements into BF/FP&A


• Working with the leadership team in Business Finance/FP&A to get consistent and efficient processes under a new global operating model


• Increasing use of Daily/Weekly management


• Improving end to end information flows, handoffs, and continuity of execution


• Exploring global finance operating models to drive consistency and efficiency

Your Skills and Expertise 
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution


• Ten (10) years of finance or finance related business experience in a private, public, government or military environment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• MBA or master’s degree in finance and/or strategy


• Experience applying Lean Principles


• Proven ability to use influencing skills to drive results


• Experience transforming finance processes in an enterprise environment


• Exhibited sense of urgency to drive effective change across functions in a large organization

Travel: May include up to 10% domestic/international

Relocation Assistance: May be authorized

Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
