JOB
SUMMARY:


Responsible for ensuring final loan documents are accurately created and
are in accordance with specific requirements and programs within Warehouse
Lending. Responsible for validating all information on all forms are in
accordance with Bank and lending regulations. 
Provide final validation and approval on loan documents which includes
pricing of loans and processes wire requests to closing agents. Monitor wet
collateral report and note shipment requests. 
Performs all duties in accordance with the company’s policies and
procedures, all U.S. state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the
company operates.

 

ESSENTIAL
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  1. Review
    incoming warehouse loan data file, funding documents and wire instructions.

  2. Review
    pricing of loans and disbursement amount requested; make necessary corrections
    if needed.  Verifies all underwriting and doc conditions have been satisfied and
    signed off on loan approval.

  3. Assist
    with collateral shipping; collateral conversion and monitor wet collateral report
    and custodian aggregate reports. 

  4. Assist
    with confirming Deed of Trust/ Mortgage recordation as needed.  Assist with file storage; scanned loan file
    documents and organized them in the correct folder.

  5. Maintain
    client satisfaction through excellent customer service and efficient solving of
    problems.

  6.  Establish working relationship with client
    funders as appropriate for job function.

  7. Treats

  • Demonstrates knowledge of, adherence to,

    following: Regulation Z (Truth in Lending Act), Regulation B (Equal Credit
    Opportunity Act), Fair Housing Act (FHA), Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA),
    Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), Fair Credit Reporting Act
    (FCRA), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) in conjunction with the USA PATRIOT Act,
    Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Customer Information Program (CIP), Right to
    Financial Privacy Act (RFPA, state and federal) and Community Reinvestment Act
    (CRA).

  • Intermediate
    knowledge of related state and federal banking compliance regulations, and
    other Bank lending policies.

  • Intermediate
    knowledge of title policies and related loan regulations such as RESPA, HMDA
    and other Bank lending policies on loans to directors.

  • Effective organizational and time management skills.

  • Intermediate
    skills in computer terminal and personal computer operation; Microsoft Office
    applications including but not limited to: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

  • Intermediate
    typing skills to meet production needs of the position.

  • Intermediate
    math skills; calculate interest and percentages; balance accounts; add,
    subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers,
    common fractions and decimals; locate routine mathematical errors; compute
    rate, ratio and percent, including the drafting and interpretation of bar
    graphs.

  • Exceptional
    oral, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to apply
    common sense to carry out instructions, interpret documents, understand
    procedures, write reports and correspondence, and speak clearly to customers
    and employees.

  • Ability to complete routine forms, use existing form
    letters, and/or conduct routine oral communication.

  • Ability to work with general supervision while performing
    duties.

 

EDUCATION,
EXPERIENCE AND/OR LICENSES:


  • High School Diploma and a minimum of 4 years’
    related work experience and/or training.  Work related experience should consist of a
    credit or loan processing background. 

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
