This position is within a Data Analytics team for the Supply Chain and Procurement (SC & Proc.) organization, with a growing attention and focus on Data Science. The team is responsible for supporting the global business processes and technology that enables the SC & Proc. activities, optimizing daily operations starting from forecasting through scheduling and management, securing material availability, processes, governance, systems and controls for acquiring goods and services, all the way up to shipment and customer delivery.Job Description
We are looking for an intern in the space of Data Analyst with a Data Science background or a Junior Data Scientist to work with both business and IT counterparts. While working closely with the different business partners, you will gain a fundamental understanding of the reporting and data visibility needs. By translating those business needs into data requirements, you will play a fundamental role in bridging the gap between business and advanced analytics.

We are open to junior developers as well as advanced data analysts, but we do require an understanding and exposure of Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence as well as a working knowledge of SQL. It is definitely a plus if you have some level of exposure and executed some Data Science projects in the past.

Candidates should possess high energy, positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and an ability to build relationships.

Qualifications:

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word

Ability to understand and organize data in a clear and efficient manner for reporting purposes

Data Science exposure or hands-on experience

Working experience in SQL
