Dewberry is currently seeking an experienced Part-time Senior Designer - Stream Mitigation for Transportation Projects in our Mechanicsburg, PA office.

Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Design and implement stream stabilization and improve habitats for fish structures.
- Provide technical assistance and/or manage studies and design projects.
- Collect and analyze field data, reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, tests, and aerial photographs to plan projects.
- Obtain, analyze, and interpret demographic and other regional transportation planning data.
- Prepare and modify planning documents.
- Provide technical expertise and to support stream mitigation projects.

Required Skills & Required Experience

- Minimum 10 years' experience implementing and designing stream stabilization projects for PennDOT or other county and federal groups.
- Familiarity with State and Federal design and permitting processes for stream mitigation.
- Detail-oriented, ability to work with team members from other office locations, manage/mentor junior staff, and desire to grow transportation enhancement services.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- A clean driving record. Must have a valid driver's license.
