Department's Website:Summary of Job Duties:The Financial Aid Specialist works under general supervision and is responsible for assisting the call center supervisor in counseling students and parents over the phone. This position will provide answers to callers by being familiar with federal, state, and university policies and regulations and by looking up student data in the integrated student information system. The Financial Aid Specialist will have the opportunity to visit orientation sessions on campus in order to present information concerning financial aid procedures and will work with their supervisor to assist in default management efforts.

Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.Qualifications:

The formal education equivalent of a bachelor's degree in business administration or related field
