JOB PURPOSE

Full-time positions that are fast-paced and require manual material handling. Does not require use of knives or hand tools. Weighing, labeling, bagging, packaging and boxing fresh pork products. Night shift schedules available with various daily hours. On-the-job training provided; no experience necessary.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Label, weigh, bag, package and box fresh or marinated product

- Check packages and boxes for damages or shortages

- Use of Cryovac or Multivac machines where required

- Available to work scheduled hours, which may include mandatory overtime depending on production needs

- Wear all assigned personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times

- Additional essential functions may be applicable to specific jobs

REQUIREMENTS

- Must be 18 years of age or older

- No education or prior work experience is required

- Must be able to lift, push, and pull at least up to 50 pounds

- Must be able to work in a cold or hot environment

- Ability to stand on concrete for 8-12 hours daily

- Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and use some or all body parts and muscle groups in physically demanding work

- Good hand-eye coordination and upper extremity motor skills
