Working with the Food Service Supervisor, the food service assistant is a key role within the
Keystone Hall Organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The assigned duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Follow menu plans, prepare, cook and serve meals on time.
Cleaning and keeping kitchen and dining area compliant with NH Board of Health.
Storing food and assisting with inventory control.
Pay attention to client diet restrictions and allergies to foods
Fill in for the Food Service Supervisor during planned holidays and vacation days as well as sick days.
Report problems or incidents regarding clients to case managers or support staff.
Assist the planning and posting of dinner menus.
Assist with shopping and purchasing for meals
Preplan and develop weekend rnenu.
Keep accurate records of purchases and deliver to Director of Administrative Services.
Notify the Food Service Supervisor or Designee if assigned residents do not keep up with their duties or cleanliness.
Reporting of any incidents regarding the clients or food to the Food Service Supervisor.

Basic Qualifications
· High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Five or more years of cooking experience.
The ability to function individually and as a team member
Proficiency in verbal and written communications
If in recovery, one-year continuous sobriety and significant evidence of personal stability.
Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds, with or without assistance,
Must adhere to all professional and ethical guidelines per 42CFR.
The ability to prepare and serve meals to 50 plus people twice per day.
