Human Resources Administrator

Job Type: Full-Time

Required Experience:


  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • 2 years experience or exposure to Human Resources processes preferred  

  • Must be proficient with computer, typewriter, copy machine, and familiar with other office equipment. 

  • Skills will include use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Windows. Excellent communication, telephone, organizational, detail oriented and interpersonal skills are a necessity.  Experience in office and health care setting is preferred.

  • Strict adherence to confidentiality is required.

General duties include: Assistant to HR Generalist in the completion of human resource duties including: posting of open positions at Compass, new hire process and onboarding, oversite of random drug testing; oversite of background checks on employees, maintenance of personnel files and other filing/record keeping, backup for managing Payroll (Paycom) in absence of HR Generalist.

Work settings as well as transportation to these locations will vary and the environmental and physical properties will be diverse. In addition, the employee travels by automobile and is exposed to changing weather conditions. Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable under Compass Behavioral Health’s policy in order to operate a Center vehicle.
