Customer Support, Returned Material Processor at Mcnaughton McKay

Job Description:

General Summary:

Coordinates the processing of defective and returned materials, resolves questions/problems arising internally or with the customer regarding these materials and processes the related paperwork. Coordinates service calls and processes related paperwork.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Interfaces with the Vendor, Inside Sales, Outside Sales, Engineering, Warehouse Credit Clerk and customer to determine the disposition of defective / returned materials.

2.Processes all paperwork regarding returns / repairs including: Returned Materials form, Return Goods Authorization (RGA) forms, repair purchase orders, vendor debit memos, credit memos, invoices, and customer credit memos.

3.Interfaces with Inside Sales, Outside Sales and customers to resolve questions / problems regarding returns, replacements, repair charges, service calls and credits.

4.Adjusts inventory for materials returned and placed back into stock.

5.Evaluates material returned on “buy backs” and processes returns.

6.Coordinates Allen-Bradley technical service call requests between customer and vendor and processes customer invoice and vendor payment.

7.Creates, implements and revises procedures and instructions.

8.Participates as a Switchboard Relief Team Member.

9.Performs various Customer expediting and open order reports.

10.Provides feedback to McNaughton McKay Inside Sales, Outside Sales and Customers on completed reports that include:

•Daily, Weekly and as needed Customer requests

•Daily, Weekly and as needed Inside Sales/Outside Sales requests

11.Frequently lifts, carries or otherwise moves and positions product weighing up to 40 pounds unassisted when stocking, loading or unloading products. Typically bends, stoops and/or crouches on a regular basis from various heights to stock.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

1.High school diploma or GED.

2.Ability to work with minimal supervision: organizing, prioritizing and completing tasks at own initiative.

3.Proven interpersonal communication skills, both written and oral.

4.Problem solving skills.

5.Basic PC skills with MS Office Products.
