Position Overview

This position is responsible for administering processes, data management, customer service, and advanced problem solving to maintain data integrity and compliance for the company's insurance department.

Key Responsibilities


  • Collect, analyze and manage quantitative data and create meaningful reports to lead business improvement and cost reductions associated with the insurance/risk management program.

  • Support internal teams with loss control/loss prevention activities based on the various sites risk profile and at the direction of the Manager of Insurance.

  • Monitor and ensure compliance with controls, standards, and laws  for designated specialty.

  • Provide support related to education and communication on all insurance related topics including the explanation of insurance policy terms and conditions, endorsements, and distribution of insurance certificates.

  • Provide support during the entire spectrum and calendar of the regular insurance policy and broker renewal cycle.

  • Manage the information, data and documents stored in the Risk Management Information System (RMIS).

  • Develop and maintain expertise needed for department systems and processes internally and externally.

  • Intermediate knowledge and experience in own discipline; still acquiring higher level knowledge and skills.

  • Solves a range of straightforward problems

  • Analyzes possible solutions using standard procedures

  • Receives a moderate level of guidance and direction

Minimum Qualifications & Skills


  • Bachelor's Degree required (or the equivalent in work experience)

  • 2-5 years' relevant experience required

  • CRM, ARM, CIC or CPCU certification preferred


  • Participate in the claims process.

  • Review third party contracts as requested.
