ROLE/PURPOSE:

The Director, Paid Media will be
responsible for driving strategy of digital programs as well as supervising
paid search and paid accounts within the performance marketing team. This
person will work closely with account team leads and our vendor partners in the
research, development, implementation, and management of paid marketing
campaigns that surpass our clients’ business goals and expectations. Key
functions include supporting the definition of media strategy, overseeing and
being hands-on with execution of successful campaigns, primarily focused on
paid search, social, display and media partnerships.

RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Develop integrated strategies focused on client’s
    business outcomes leveraging paid social, paid search, SEO, display,
    native, and media partnerships

  • Oversee execution of performance marketing campaigns
    across channels to meet client objectives and KPIs

Oversee and grow the
role of paid media inside designated account or accounts


  • Ability to guide junior staff members

  • Interpret performance reports to craft meaningful story
    and insights for clients

  • Act as day-to-day contact for client and/or account leads
    where needed

  • Build and maintain relationships with key vendors,
    platforms, and technology partners 

  • Monitor latest trends in digital advertising to improve
    campaign performance and provide recommendations on how clients can best
    leverage new tools and services 

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other members
    within the digital and account teams 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

At least six years of
relevant experience in digital marketing and/or related fields

·      
Self-starter with a
strong ability to embrace an entrepreneurial spirit within the context of an
evolving environment

·      
Experience developing
and managing multi-million-dollar ad campaigns

·      
The ability to
successfully manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment

·      
Experience developing
customized analytics reporting and knowledge of 3rd party tracking and ad
serving technology

·      
Comprehensive
knowledge of the entire online marketing ecosystem

·      
Experience managing
conversion, lead generation and direct-response campaigns


  • Client service background with strong oral
    communication and presentation skills  

  • Ability to manage and motivate junior staff

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent

Experience responding
to government RFPs and working with government clients is a plus

·      
B2B experience is a
plus

·      
Experience working in regulated
industries such as finance and healthcare is a plus

·      
Experience with
backend and front-end SEO

·      
Track record of
successfully managing and growing multiple client accounts


  • Understanding of the role that PR and social media play
    in the overall communications marketing mix

  • Strong aptitude for back end business growth and new
    business opportunities
