JOB SUMMARY
Manage quality systems for Auburn Hills Facility.
JOB RESPONSIBLITIES
Support, maintain, and sustain QMS/EMS.
Participate and complete APQP activities.
Manage internal TS/ISO audit process.
Manage LPA system.
Manage customer portals and service packages in covisent.
Manage compliant pro database for customer and supplier corrective actions.
Complete and deliver successful on time PPAP packages as required by customers.
Interact successfully with Dana’s launch teams.
Interact successfully with customer engineering and SQE representatives.
Adhere to Quality, Safety, and Environmental Policies.
Understand and follow all required DOS standards.
Upload customer and supplier PPAP packages in Dana and Customer databases.
Maintain DOS Fast Response and Quality boards.
Create quality alerts for all customer issues.
Manage third party sort activities.
Manage warranty return analysis and corrective actions.
Any task deemed necessary by Management.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Bachelor degree in a technical field and / or 5 years quality engineering experience in an automotive part manufacturing environment.
ASQ Certified Quality Engineer is preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Working knowledge of Rockwell tester, calipers, and micrometers.
Knowledge of quality tools/techniques (APQP, SPC, PFMEA, Control Plans, PPAP, TS-16949, 3 path 5 why, 8D etc).
High proficiency in understanding math data, interpretation and part measurement.
Working knowledge of GD & T, tolerance stack analysis, gage design and check fixture follow-up activities including Gage R& R’s.
Knowledge of automotive customer websites including eConnect (Chrysler) and Covisint (GM).
Knowledge of plant manufacturing processes.
Strong computer skills and knowledge of MS Office Suite.
Effective communication skills.

May be required to work extended hours on occasion.
This job requires travel that may be for extended periods.
International travel / passport required.
