Job Description

Assists residents in performing rehabilitation activities such as walking along with exercise and range of motion as directed by the restorative nursing coordinator and the therapy department. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide the prescribed rehab programs after training from therapy/nursing coordinator to allow residents to maintain their functional abilities and quality of life. Notifies restorative nursing coordinator/therapy if there are changes in the residents’ function or ability to appropriately complete programs so adjustments/reassessments can be made. Tracks and documents progress of residents activities in the FHS charting system. Licensing or certification is not required for this position.
