Job Summary

We are currently seeking self-motivated, energetic, and team-oriented Shipping/Receiving worker for our Moorestown, NJ manufacturing plant. This position requires pulling orders and organizing, staging, and loading material including glass and metal onto company delivery and common carrier vehicles. Must be able to work first shift (6:00 am start) and be able to work overtime as needed. Starting rate is $15.00/ hour.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Stock material


• Pull orders for shipment


• Load/Unload trucks daily using proper methods


• Track inventory


• Clean and organize the warehouse


• All other duties as assigned


• Regular and predictable attendance, the ability to safely perform tasks, and adherence to all safety policies and procedures are essential functions of your job

Requirements

• Must speak, read, and understand English


• Basic computer skills (IBM AS400 / AS/400  experience a plus)


• Must be able to work overtime as needed


• Must be able to multitask


• All production workers are expected to be available to work in all areas of production


• Shipping and Warehouse experience a plus


• Forklift experience a plus

Physical Requirements

• Ability to squat, crouch,  bend, twist, lift, pull, reach, and walk frequently every day


• Ability to grasp and squeeze small parts and large items


• Ability to stand on concrete, wearing safety boots, for up to 12 hours per day


• Must have the ability to lift and/or move up to 75 lbs. repeatedly on a regular basis


• Ability to work in varied temperatures consistent with same climate conditions of the region (Heat, humidity, etc.). The production area is not climate controlled and certain areas are very hot or cold depending on the machinery being operated and the outdoor climate
