How you will contribute

Valmont is currently seeking a highly motivated and talented individual for a Fabricator I position at our Farmington, MN location. We are looking for a highly driven individual that will operate fabricating machines in accord with established procedures. Additionally, you will be...

• Responsible for operating equipment and tooling in a manner conducive to safe and efficient operation and in accordance with established procedures.


• Operate machines such as running mills, lathes, drill presses, saws, hand tools.


• Perform mathematical equations involving addition, subtraction, division of dimensions represented decimally or in fractions.


• Read blueprints and interpret dimensions and tolerances.


• Accept other duties as required or assigned.

  Required Qualifications
  

  
  

• High School Diploma or GED


• 1 year experience in a fast pace manufacturing environment.


• Must be able to use measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers, pie tape, and a tape measure.


• Fabricating experience is preferred, but will train a motivated individual.


• Good mathematical, written and verbal skills.


• Ability to routinely lift 50lbs.

• Ability to read blueprints and interpret dimensions and tolerances (preferred).


• Attention to detail and quality of work.
