The RN Assistant Manager Labor and Delivery will assume responsibility for the daily clinical operations of the Delivery Room, in addition to regularly assessing the unit’s operations and identifying process improvements. The RN Assistant Manager will be responsible for the scheduling of the day shift while mentoring, supervising, and evaluating the team to reach their full potential.

Given the responsibility of coordinating patient care activities, teaching staff, rounding, counseling and assisting in discharge planning, the RN Assistant Manager Labor and Delivery should have effective communication skills, in addition to a desire and ability to lead. The RN Assistant Manager should be equipped with a passion for Labor and Delivery, in addition to prior leadership experience.
