What will I be doing?

The Senior Software Engineer, iOS will be responsible for the design, development, documentation, and troubleshooting of our Hilton iOS app experiences in collaboration with other engineers and business partners.

More specifically, you will:

• Implement new requirements within our agile delivery methodology while following our established architectural principles
• Write clean, concise code that is stable, extensible, and unit-tested appropriately
• Collaborate with team members to implement and test outstanding guest experiences
• Debug and resolve production issues as needed

What are we looking for?

We believe success in this role will demonstrate itself through the following attributes and skills:

• Experience with Xcode (interface Builder, Instruments)
• Experience/solid understanding of Swift and Objective-C
• Experience with UIKit, Core Animation, KVO, Core Data, URL loading and web services
• Experience with various architectural design patterns (MVVM, MVC)
• Familiarity with agile software tools such as JIRA
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:

• Five (5+) years of experience in Technology or related field
• Three (3) years of experience with full cycle software development, preferably in an agile environment. Experience should include the following - design, coding, testing, release, and maintenance
• Three (3) years of experience with iOS application engineering with at least one app shipped to the Apple App Store

It would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

• Bachelor's Degree, or Associate's Degree with six (6+) years of Technology related experience, or High School Degree/GED with twelve (12+) years of Technology related experience
• Experience with SwiftUI and Combine
