We are searching for a motivated & experienced Sales Sampler
Handles Sales sample orders that are incoming, follows process from start to finish which is delivered to the requesting customer. Documents all necessary information pertaining to sampling such as inventory adjustment, cycle count sheets, tracking of shipments etc. When necessary the Sales Sampler also bakes off sample product to be shipped. Handles UPS shipments for all departments.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES: include the following

Pulls Samples for Sales Department
Prints sample orders for the day
Prepares paper work and labels for samples to be shipped each day
Products get pulled out of the freezer
Pulls the best product possible for samples
Puts together sample orders
Ships samples for the day via UPS, Fed X or truck
Runs end of day report in UPS system
Tracks UPS shipments from previous day
Process for removing from freezer
Creates Sample Orders: in (Theos) to remove product from inventory
Allocates the cases in acutrac to adjust inventory
Pulls product from inventory and place on sample pallets
Pulls less than full case orders from these cases
Returns open cases back to sample pallets
Shipping for all departments
Set up and ship UPS for all departments
Reporting
Runs end of day report in UPS system
Tracks UPS shipments from previous day
Creates UPS report weekly and sends to management
Works with shipping department to create cycle count sheets
After cycle count is completed data is entered into acu-track
Baking off product
Bakes off product for shows or presentations when needed
Attends company scheduled meetings when applicable (i.e., safety meetings, production meetings, department meetings.).
Informs supervision of any problems or complications that may arise
Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required

In addition to the essential duties and responsibilities listed above, all positions are also responsible for:

Meeting company standards pertaining to quantity and quality of work performed on an ongoing basis, performing all work related tasks in a manner that is in compliance with all Company policies and procedures.
Adhering to Company policies, procedures, and directives regarding standards of workplace behavior in completing job duties and assignments. Must follow all Company Safety policies, as well as all GMP regulations and all lock-out/tag-out requirements according to OSHA requirements.
As part of your supervisory responsibility and as a back-up, supervisors must be able to do your work in ways that ensure safe food. You must also be aware of issues associated with food safety and safe food handling practices that are relevant to your job. Formal training is not required, but in house Food Safety Training conducted by a qualified staff member is mandatory. You must know how to recognize, prevent and alleviate food safety hazards. This position requires good working knowledge of the SQF code
