We are seeking a Dispensing Pharmacy Technician (Ambulatory Services) to:
Education:
Minimum – High School Diploma or equivalent.
Preferred – Completion of an accredited pharmacy technician training program.
Work Experience:
Preferred – Previous pharmacy technician experience.
Licenses and Certifications:
Preferred – Certified Pharmacy Technician.
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
Physical Requirements:
Medium: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds maximum with frequent lifting/and or carrying objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
Work Schedule:
This is a full-time, 40 hours per week position. Individuals will be scheduled Monday - Friday for 8 hour shifts during the day. This posting represents multiple openings at various UW Health Pharmacy locations throughout Madison, WI. Additional information will be provided during an in-person interview.
UW Health Pharmacy Services Building – a non-clinical location in Middleton that houses nearly 100 Pharmacy professionals. These employees perform various services and duties, including pharmacy administration, Pharmacy Technician Training Program, pharmacy primary care services, medication prior authorization, sterile and non-sterile compounding, specialty/mail service program and call center.
