Position Summary

Responsible for primarily data analysis and process improvement. Ad hoc assignments requiring investigation within ERP systems and collaboration with stakeholders will be a significant portion of this role. Provide audit assistance with HQ pertaining to all California locations. A solid understanding of project accounting including budgets, change orders, variances and re-forecasting is preferred. Experience with SOX compliance and audit procedures is a plus.

 

Minimum Qualifications (Education/Experience) and Required Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance or its equivalent


• Minimum 3 years of experience in an accounting, data analysis, or audit role


• Specific experience with inventory and costing; financial accounting; business law including sales and use tax regulations, lien laws, etc.; internal controls; payroll & benefit programs; accounts payable; credit and collections


• Excellent communicator, able to work as a team member and provide extensive support to the Controller and other personnel


• Good working knowledge of all Microsoft Office programs, especially proficient with Excel


• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with a “Make it Happen” approach


• High ethical and professional standards – honesty, integrity & common sense


• Good attendance and positive attitude a must

• Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, and the general public at all times.


• Must be willing to travel and work away from home when required.


• Must be willing to work nights and weekends when necessary.


• Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.


• Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required.


• Must have the ability to work without close supervision.
