Our Battle Ground facility is looking for an employee to work 1st shift, who is motivated, dedicated and takes a sense of personal ownership, pride and responsibility in delivering quality products and superior service.

This position requires you to load and secure crates and racks with our product.  As a shipping/receiving person, you will load and off-load trucks with a fork-lift, pallet jack or by hand.  You will take care of customer will-calls and spray our opaci silicon paint on the correct substrate of our product.  You will keep track of inventory and make adjustments as needed.

Job Responsibilities:

You are responsible for the building of crates and loading of both crates and racks with our product.  You will prepare the crates by putting lining or padding material to protect items during shipment.  You must pack and load items according to shipping needs, orders or supervisor’s specifications, without constant supervision and work quickly, ensuring that the crates/racks are accurately loaded and packed.  You will be responsible for completing clerical tasks with the ability to use shop floor computer and RF equipment.  While loading and racking items you will conduct inspections, examine products to make sure they meet our specification for quality and aren’t damaged.  You will handle any needs of will-call customers and vendor drop offs (UPS, FedX, and our trucks). You will spray our silicone opaci spray on our glass product making sure to spray the proper substrate and with highest sense of quality.

Muscular, cardiovascular and upper/lower body manipulation is used to move the glass/object through the glass fabrication process (bending, twisting, and reaching).  Gripping, cupping, clamping hand and wrist motions are required to support, carry, and maneuver glass/objects to platform heights of three feet in a manner considered safe for self and others.  The on/off-loading of glass from, tables, rolling racks, delivery trucks, or wood crates for eight or more hours daily.  Our manufacturing facility is subject to the same general climate conditions of the region (heat, cold, humidity, etc.). You must have the ability to perform general mathematical equations, ability to read and comprehend shop paperwork. You will also be responsible for cleaning the shipping area and ensuring all safety procedures are followed

Employment contingent upon successful completion of background investigation and pre-employment physical and drug screening.

Job Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Ability to lift up to 75 lbs unassisted many times in a regular work shift

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time

Wear approved steel toed boots with Metatarsal for a minimum of 8-12 hours (more if needed) on concrete floors

Job Preferences:

Read and use a tape measure

Understand units of measurement and be able to perform general mathematical equations

Read, understand and communicate paperwork and labels

Basic computer skills and knowledge
