The Human Resource Generalist will be responsible for facilitating salary and hourly recruitment, selection, hiring, on-boarding, relocation and employee relation matters.

This position will serve our Raypak Division, located in Oxnard, CA.


WHAT YOU'LL DO


  • Responsible for ensuring the data integrity of our HRIS systems as well as the accuracy of personnel files

  • Develops and conducts HRIS related training to ensure understanding and engagement

  • Leads day to day BU benefit related needs such as education of employees, enrollment support for new hires, education and programming around benefits

  • Perform payroll related functions such as pay increases, role changes, pay cycle reports/ activities, etc.

  • Maintains company policies and programs compliant with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations

  • Assists with updating employee handbook and policies.

  • Partners with hiring managers to identify critical hiring needs for salary and hourly positions

  • Writes, revises, and maintains hourly and salaried job descriptions

  • Assists with hourly job bidding to include employment testing/assessments

  • Creates interview panels, interviews candidates, and facilitates the interview process

  • Creates job search and interview files and maintains supporting records per our records retention policy

  • Coordinates the on-boarding of new employees

  • Administers employee attendance, leave programs, benefits, service awards, and retirements

  • Assists with Talent Development projects and activities
