Interacts with customers and sales associates via phone and email and processes information in response to orders, inquiries, concerns, and requests regarding products.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Receive, process and verify accuracy of orders from customers by phone, fax, or email by utilizing internal systems
Provide exceptional customer service experience while effectively managing large amounts of incoming phone calls
Resolve issues a customer may have with an order or shipment
Keep records of customer interactions, transactions, and actions taken
Communicate and interact effectively with internal teams to ensure an exceptional customer experience
Maintain customer information and files
Access and work with internal systems to provide order information, pricing and delivery information to the customers
Assist Field Sales Representatives as required
Follow team procedures, guidelines, and policies
Perform additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
1-5 years of related experience and/or training preferred.
Exceptional communication and customer service skills; ability to deal with emotional or difficult customer situations
ERP system and/or data entry experience a plus; proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products
Strong basic math skills
Good problem solving skills with a sense of urgency in responding to customer needs
Must be able to sit, stand, and/or walk for up to 8-10 hours per day
Must be able to be on the phone and use a computer for extended periods of time for up to 8-10 hours per day.
Must be able to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
