Responsible for the design, development and ongoing support of master data architectures to enable information transparency and data quality across systems and organizational boundaries including Human Resources, Sales & Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Participate in the full software development life cycle from requirements, technical design to development, testing, and deployment of high-quality data, business analytics, and reporting solutions
Work closely with business teams to translate analytic business requirements into architecture and data designs to support business outcomes
Work with internal IT teams and third-party partners to design and implement data integrations to support business requirements
Analyze and document source to target data mappings
Build scalable data models to support enterprise level reporting/analytics
Analyze business requirements, design logical data models and system functions, and produce data architecture design documentation and technical specifications to enable business stakeholder self-service analytics
Develop data and information integration standards for project development, data modeling, and documentation that are maintained as the data environment evolves
Perform additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited university or college in related field of study or equivalent education and/or experience required
5 or more years of IT experience in data management
Demonstrated experience with data warehouses and modern data lakes to support business intelligence and data integrations with increasing responsibility/breadth over time
Possess a strong understanding and solution design/implementation of the following:
Data delivery/analytics, data modeling & ETL Tools (SSIS, PowerBI, Azure SQL)
Azure Data Lake technologies
Master data management
SQL stored procedures
Data warehouse methodologies
Relational and dimensional design concepts
Strong data analysis and analytical problem-solving skills
Experience integrating with multiple disparate technologies
Strong working knowledge of:
SQL server databases, indices, views, etc.
Data profiling and information quality strategies
Excellent written, oral and interpersonal, and time management skills
Ability to communicate and interact well with others
Self-motivated while following instructions and responding to management direction
Regard confidentiality of secure corporate information with the highest integrity
